Software Support
ECE provides the following software support for Administrative, Instructional and Research computers:
- ECE maintains a base of SunOS and Solaris software. This changes
frequently. E-mail ecehelp for software availability.
- ECE purchases a departmental license for Matlab. Each user is responsable for helping to cover
the associated cost.
- ECE maintains a base of Macintosh software. Licenses and copies of site
licensed commericial software can be obtained through ecehelp. We currently have Mac OS, SSH,
Eudora, and Office available for licensing. Additional software is available directly from Software Distribution.
- PC software available for licensing includes Windows XP, Eudora, SSH, Office 2003, and Office XP.
Additional PC software is available through Software Distribution.
